Block Party Dress Up, CG Super Heroes, & Halloween Festive Fun with our Fants

I think my Instagram said it best. It read... "Elsa and Olaf had a magical time at our Fant friends' neighborhood block party. It may have been a bit too cold for our ice princess and our little snowman was surely wishing for summer heat, but we had an enchanted and magical time with our friends!" For the past few years, we have joined our Fant friends at their neighborhood block party around Halloween. It is always a fun night of dress up, delicious food truck eats, fun with friends, and adorable friendships. This year did not disappoint. I love watching the older kids run and explore the nights festivities. This year was so fun watching our little man try to catch up. It will be no time before he is running with them.

I loved how the big kids took care of Liam. These kids have grown up together from birth and are such good friends. I adore their relationships and time together. }

 I could imagine CG workouts to be pretty intense when Captain America and my favorite Care bear show up.

Happy Halloween 2017
Our Halloween is in the books!
Halloween was finally here. Weather reports had said it was supposed to rain and be a gloomy Halloween Tuesday, but not this Halloween. The skies opened up and it was a beautiful night of trick or treat fun with these cuties.

We were so excited that Liam allowed his Olaf costume to last as long as it did at the block party. For some reason, he was not about the Olaf head, so we found this adorable costume given to us by our Duke friends and it turned out just perfect. He loved the little fire fighter hat and it was warm enough for this cooler, Halloween night. Now other than his hat, this little boy was all about this bag of veggie straws that he took from the Fant house. Poor liam took these veggie straws and really just wanted to hang out in the wagon eating. He didn't understand why mommy kept taking him out to walk up a set of stairs and carry a bucket. I think we should have practiced a bit more.
For his first "true" Halloween experience, he did a great job. He even took a few pieces of chocolate candy (that mommy and daddy ended up sharing in) and would catch up to his friends and sissy.
Instagram Post "Liam's 1st trick or treating experience may not have been all about the candy, but he sure did love those stolen veggie straws and chasing after big sissy and friends."

Aubrey lived in a blur this Halloween season. She ran with her friends and enjoyed all the trick or treating experience possible. It was surely a magical night for this sweet princess.
{When a night is about candy, dress, and fun, your pictures truly live in a blur.}
After a night of trick or treating fun, the kids sampled a few candy favorites.

 Candy Kisses are always the best! Happy Halloween!
