Mommy is Celebrating 33!

Happy Birthday to me! This year I turned 33. It actually came quite quickly this year. But celebrating my special day with family and friends was surely the icing on the cake. In our family, a birthday is celebrated all weekend. From Klyde Warren Food Truck fun with friends, oversized ice cream treats, a celebratory workout, dinner and an Aggie game, and a parent's night out with my first love was a perfect celebration and beginning of a new 365 days of adventure. Enjoy a fun picture post of our outings together.

Kyle Warren Park is always our family favorite and Butcher Brother's sliders are always a delicious choice.
What made the park extra sweet was that our Voss friends joined us for an afternoon lunch and splash pad playtime. Love these pictures of our kiddos together. Nothing beats the September heat as some water play.

 For a delicious and sweet dessert treat, we found ourselves at Creme de la Cookie in Dallas. Oh how this oversized dessert treat, filled our hearts and surely our bellies.
 {The kiddos enjoyed some taste testing}

On my actual birthday, I met up with these fabulous faces at Shawnee Trail to enjoy a butt kicking and always amazing CG workout with my faves. And without fail, I enjoyed my birthday burpees with the husband. Thankful for this community of people. #bettertogether #birthdayburpees #workoutbesties

On parent's night out, this handsome hunk and I enjoyed a birthday dinner at Grimaldi's with some delicious drinks, tasty eats, and amazing time together.
 And what better way to spend our weekend then to watch an Aggie game with our besties, our kiddos enjoy a fun play date together, and finish our evening with great friend catch up. So thankful for these amazing friends to do and celebrate life with.

 {Loving my new watch!}

We finished our weekend at IHop (a new family tradition) with these cuties after church. Thankful for their energy and for their love. Thank you to all that made my special weekend of celebration so fun. It is such a blessing. 33 is surely the way to be and I look forward to all the excitement that lays ahead!

Adventures in Preschool 2017

To my precious littles,
Today is the day of new adventures. From my little lady who wants to be a stay at home jammie princess and my little boy who seems to enjoy loud octave musician like singing and or a pitcher in the making, I know this new adventure will so good for our family. Today is the day we all start preschool. Aubrey will be in Mrs. Wolfe's 3s class and Liam will be in Miss Lisa & Miss Lisa's class while mommy will teach 3 day 4s at our church. I am eager, anxious, excited, nervous, but so beyond blessed to have God speak over this new opportunity for us. I know great things will come from this including a wonderful love for God, for school, and for our teachers and new friends. Here's to new adventures in Preschool!

While I may have been a few weeks behind, I did end up purchasing big kid backpacks from Target. Thank you clearance section for helping us get fully ready for school.
Picture Day came early to the CDC this fall. From individual pictures and sibling pictures, the hugs, kisses, and even cheek pinches made my heart melt. I cannot wait to share those beauties with you.

There is something so special with working at your kids' school. I love getting small glimpses of the kids each day! Typically this lovely lady blows kisses, gives long distance high fives, thumbs up signs, and usually tells me to be good or shouts, "that's my mommy! Her name is Alicia, but I call her mommy!"
