PJ Family Christmas Pictures

Each year we take family pictures for our Christmas cards. It has become a tradition to take the photos around our anniversary in November and then go out for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. This year we decided to do it a little differently. This year as we made it to our favorite park, we decided to do jammie pictures. So with a gorgeous sunset backdrop, bribery candy canes, matchy matchy Christmas jammies for the kiddos, and a whole lot of love, we took some super adorable pictures. These are many of my favorites.

 {My two littlest loves make my heart full}
Little man was full of big belly laughs, lots of sweet smiles, and full blown energy. We may have had a few problems with ants, but quickly found happiness in some sweet candy canes and time with sissy.

Oh What Fun!May this year truly be a reminder of God's forever faithfulness. We are not blessed with what we have but blessed in who we have as we have God's promise and the love of family around us.

Also on a small side note, you may get lots of interesting looks when you are adorning your Christmas jammies in November. Regardless our day was filled with lots of adorableness, delicious food, and fun memories made this jammie Christmas picture night!

Happy Birthday Jesus Preschool Fun

We HEART Preschool!
This Christmas season, we ended our preschool week with lots of fun holiday activities and a Happy Birthday Jesus Christmas show and performance. These cuties loved every minute of holiday fun with their teachers and classmates.

 {Hugs for Mrs. Wolfe- Aubrey's 3s Teacher}
I adore Mrs. Wolfe and her love for her students. Aubrey loves learning and coming to school each day. It makes my mama and teacher heart know this is exactly where God is calling her. In addition I am so very thankful for these sweet 4s teachers that I have the privilege working with. I'm thankful for their love of teaching and for the students that make this fun life truly an adventure!

 {Sarah, Amanda, Angie, Kelli, Amber, and me}
I may have shed many a tear with this adorable project form Miss Lisa and Miss Lisa's classroom of my favorite little guy. From the cutest Christmas picture and card to the handmade fingerprint snowmen, my heart was absolutely melting this holiday season. I absolutely love his two teachers and love the way they love on my little guy.
In my room, we enjoyed lots of fun winter activities, but most importantly I love getting to spread the great news of Jesus. As he truly is our reason for the season. I love my job and love the opportunity to grow my students' mind and hearts!
 {Students' Name Trees}
I am so incredibly thankful for my students, their parents, and the wonderful staff of the CDC. I love teaching and I truly felt called to be there. While our days do have their fare share of challenges, I can honestly say I am truly thankful for this amazing opportunity as I truly LOVE what I do. Wishing all my teacher friends and kiddos a fantastic Christmas!

Santa πŸŽ…πŸ»! I know him! 2017

 Santa! I know him!
Visiting Santa has a special place in my heart. This year the big guy made a very special trip from the North Pole to Stonebriar Mall to visit with good little boys and girls. Our little family had a fun time scheduling this great little event. While we were a bit past our scheduled meeting time, we walked up right in time to greet the big guy, to take a few family photos, and even write our special letters for Santa to take back with him to the North Pole.
 {Waiting in line to see Santa}
 {Spotting the Big Guy in Red is so exciting!}

I asked Aubrey to make this face as one it was just beyond words adorable as she sang, Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time as well as mimicking the kid from Home Alone. Four is such a fun age with Santa.

 As we waited in line, our two littles enjoyed "writing letters" to Santa.

 When asked what she wanted from the big guy in red she said, "I don't know. All the things I want. After a few more questions, she would say. I want a yo-yo. I love her happy heart and sweet toy.

Santa Visit 2017
 No tears and big smiles. Liam was ready to pull on Santa's beard and Aubrey was all about holding her special little elf friend. After Liam continued to eat on his little Elf, my attempt at taking away the Elves led Santa into a teachable moment that stuck with Aubrey. She nicely said, "no mommy." Santa then reminded her that saying no to mommy may lead to ending up on the naughty list. She then at each chance reminded me that she had been good all year and needed to be on the nice list.

 As we made our way through the mall and ended our sweet visit with Santa, we had to get a I HEART SANTA cookie cake to celebrate. As the cookie baked, the littles enjoyed a fun celebratory ride on the carousel.

I have to say our visit with Santa was a magical one. I am thankful for these precious holiday memories. Thankful for the magic of Christmas!
