26 Week Baby Bump

Number of weeks26 weeks
Measurement: right on track. We hear that little Miss actually has pretty long legs. I guess she's taking after daddy. We'll see when she arrives.
Baby Size: According to the Bump, our baby is the size of a head of lettuce. I don't think I'll ever look at lettuce the same again. It is fun to think what fruit or vegetable Aubrey is comparing to these days... especially those that I am unfamiliar with. During month six, the average fetus measures about 13.6 inches to 14.8 inches and weighs about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds.
Interesting Fact: Her eyes are forming and will begin to open. She has also grown eye lashes.
Total Weight Gain: +13.8
Pregnancy Clothes: Love them!
Tiger Stripes: I'm beginning to be able to see less and less of my sides and lower tummy these days. I sadly started out with several so now am unsure what I started with but don't think any new ones have shown at this time.
Symptoms: an ever growing belly:) LOVE THIS! twists and turns from little miss, beautiful baby kicks, leg cramps (Yes I am now taking the advice and eating a banana a day.), lots of lower pressure and ligament pain, tail bone pain, stiffness, pregnancy brain (words are coming so much more difficult to me these days. ha), trouble sleeping at night, lots of bathroom breaks, and a weak bladder. All worth it. But yes I am really starting to feel this pregnancy. I'll take it though. I have loved knowing that I'm able to do something that for almost a year and a half that I feared my body couldn't. A little over 3 months to go!
Sleep: This is a funny word. I love sleep or more importantly, I love naps. I take a 2 hour nap almost every single day in the afternoon. I hear that it won't happen again so I might as well take advantage right?!?! This for sure helps me through the nights, because sadly I'm still not sleeping well. I'm really getting uncomfortable and have to move from side to back to side. I am still super thankful I can sleep on my back. It changes it up for me a bit. I know that I need to be enjoying this because sadly it will only go down hill from here. lol
Movement: I love feeling Miss Aubrey move. She is kicking harder these days. I love actually seeing my tummy move with her sweet kicks. I cannot wait until I can catch her on video to send to family.
Most Memorable Moment: This was a big week for the Zellners. I finished my final days of summer school and will now enjoy time at home getting things done before Auby arrives. I spent some sweet time with my favorite mama of twins and 3 year old. My brother will be visiting us this weekend to spend the July 4th holiday. We finished painting the nursery (minus a few bleeds from the painter's tape), ordered her crib, and found our stroller travel system and carrier on Amazon for a ridiculously amazing price. I've gotta say, it is all coming along:)
Cravings: Water from Sonic! Ok as a preggo lady, I have become a bit spoiled with my water consumption. I cannot stand the tap water or even most bottled water. I also think there may be something wrong with our ice maker... so it's just not cutting it. So water is basically free from Sonic so Ray makes a run for me pretty much every other day. It is delicious! I've also enjoyed strawberry smoothies, cereal, and of course always want anything that's made of dough including blueberry muffin mix, cookie dough, brownie mix, etc.
Gender Predictions: We are welcoming our sweet daughter, Aubrey Rose Zellner in early October. Our date was moved to October 6th.
What I Miss: sweet tea and bikinis. I'm honestly not looking forward to buying a bathing suit this year but it seems I may have to soon. Any ideas on a suitable tankini or preggo mama bathing suit?
What I look forward to: We are expecting lots of visitors in the next few weeks including, my brother for the July 4th holiday, my parents the following weekend, and Ray's aunt that very next week for his cousin's drum corp show in Denton. What an exciting next few weeks!

Mike's 32 Candles and Friendly Fun!

Each month we gather with our college crew for a fun "family" activity. This month, we celebrated the birthday of our friend, Mike, at the Dukes residence in Frisco. It was a fun laid back evening with BBQ, 32 candles on a delicious cake, lots of laughs, a nerdy phone game, and of course fun with friends and kiddos. To Mike our sweet friend and birthday boy... we are so glad you could make it back for a fun celebration and friendly fun!

The gents [Ray, Adam, Mike, Michael, and Dustin]

 Our June hosts, The Dukes
Upon our arrival, I loved spending time with this adorable kiddo, Jacob, as I loved watching his sweet personality and his love for trucks and of course mama's aggie flip flops. Talk about an adorable photo opt waiting to happen.

For dinner, we enjoyed Rudy's BBQ. Talk about YUM! It was a good time of catch up with sweet friends and these super cute kiddos. Seriously love his sweet face!

Bryson and Woody Fun!
Adam and Miss Madelynn

After dinner the boys got together for a fun yet super nerdy phone game called Space Team. Ray describes it as, "being on the bridge of Starship Enterprise."  It cracked us ladies up. It is a team game where you are trying to save your ship to stay alive. In a nutshell, there is a lot of random commands that make absolutely no sense. We even took a try at it but died quickly in the second level. Talk about hilarious and a great time for our gents.

We enjoyed cuddling with our cuties and catching up. I sure do love these ladies and enjoy our time together.

Ray even got a bit of practice in with Miss Madelynn! After a few games it was time to bring out the cake and sign the famous birthday song to Mike. We wish you many years of blessings and a quick return back to the big D for more friendly fun.

Thanks to our sweet friends for hosting a fun birthday celebration. We enjoyed some great friendly fun and catch up! I look forward to next month's activities.

Snuggle Buddies

I have definitely enjoyed some great relaxation time this summer with my snuggle buddies. These are our first babes... or better yet furbabes. While there are times that I question just how much random hair floating in the air I can take or how much food pieces are stolen consumed by our beagle... I will say that these special moments remind me just how much they are loved and are a huge part of our family. I can't wait to bring our little Miss into the mix as our furbabes' lives will drastically change and poor Mattie Mae will definitely lose some of that lap time that she oh so demands. So here's to many more days of snuggling to afternoon naps and to loving on our first babes. Happy Summer with your favorite snuggle buddies!

25 Week Baby Bump

Number of weeks25 weeks
Measurement: right on track
Baby Size: According to the Bump, our baby is the size of a cauliflower. During month six, the average fetus measures about 13.6 inches to 14.8 inches and weighs about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds.
Interesting Fact: She is growing more fat and hair.
Total Weight Gain: +11.3
Pregnancy Clothes: Love them!
Tiger Stripes: Not too sure. I am using coco butter and haven't seemed to gain any extra little tiger stripes.
Symptoms: beautiful and harder baby kicks, long nails, leg cramps, back pain and stiffness, feet feeling swollen, nose stuffiness
Sleep: What is that? Ha! I am still having problems sleeping at night due to bathroom breaks 2-3 times a night. I am still fully able to sleep on my back which has been a plus. I have also been getting really hot lately which doesn't help the sleep.
Movement: I love feeling Miss Aubrey move. She is kicking harder these days. I love actually seeing my tummy move with her sweet kicks.
Most Memorable Moment: I loved visiting a sweet couple from our ABF this Saturday and seeing her sweet little lady, Eva Mae. We also began to paint the nursery. While our ideas have continued to change, I really do love the progress we've made and can't wait until it is finished for our sweet lady.
Cravings: strawberry yogurt smoothies, watermelon, and icees.
Gender Predictions: We are welcoming our sweet daughter, Aubrey Rose Zellner in early October.
What I Miss: sweet tea, margaritas, and bikinis.
What I look forward to: I am so excited to be finishing more on our baby checklist. This upcoming Monday, we are going on a tour of the hospital. I can't wait to catch u up on all things baby:)

Baby Faces, Dessert Dates, and a Delicious Strawberry!

I have loved having the extra time this summer to visit with sweet friends. From summer lunch and dinner dates, visit with sweet babes, and enjoying a few afternoons of R&R... I have to say, I am so enjoying this sweet time. Last Thursday I had a fun afternoon with my friend, Kristin, and her beautiful twin baby girls, Emily and Madelynn.

Emily

I have loved seeing these sweet little girls and their mama. I cannot believe that they are almost four months old. I cannot wait until our little miss is here. She is going to have such sweet little friends to play with. I love their little personalities and baby faces (especially the middle picture of Miss Em). I also love how they look so much like mama but also like big brother, Bryson. That little boy still has my heart!
Madelynn

This Wednesday, I had a great dessert date with my girl, Duckee at Bucca di Beppo. I love getting together with this sweet girl and catching up about our lives including her little one. Our evening was so fun and super delicious. We shared a yummy ice cream sundae with brownie pieces and fudge. YUM!

I even received this sweet gift from my old team leader and friend, Kathi. I love this newborn strawberry outfit. I know our sweet Aubrey will look absolutely adorable as a strawberry!

I am looking forward to sweet activities with friends, more baby faces, and even some delicious strawberries:)

Owen's Haiwaiian 70th Birthday Party!

Happy Birthday to Owen... father-in-law, dad, and friend;). This past Saturday night we celebrated 70 years of memories with a Hawaiian themed birthday luau. Becky, our party planner and my youngest sister-in-law, did a fantastic job on the décor and preparation. It was sure a perfect evening of fun, delicious food, and family. Enjoy a fun picture post and a birthday blast!

The husband and I are ready to celebrate!

What a fun birthday celebration! It was so special to be there and celebrate with the family as well as to share our little miss with them. We can't wait to add a new sweet little Zellner to the bunch:) Happy Birthday Owen!

Father's Day Waldrup Lunch

This past weekend, we made our way to Sugar Land to celebrate a very special Father's Day. While it was a very short visit, it was sure a memorable one. On Saturday, we celebrated at Larry's Enchiladas, my favorite Mexican food restaurant. After lunch, we visited my brother and had an opportunity to see his home. I love that my brother has such a green thumb. It was fun to see the new breeds of flowers that he has planted and all he has done there.

 My brother, Chris, and I
This is his sweet girl, Shiner. Weighing in at over 100 pounds, she is full of love of energy.

Upon our return, we gave a few gifts. The last time I had been home to visit with family, I was 9 weeks pregnant and had returned 24 weeks. It was a wonderful time to share Miss Aubrey with the family. She is going to be one blessed little girl by her Opa, Oma, and Uncle Chris.

We also celebrated the hubby and father to be. Ray is going to be such an amazing daddy. He loves his little girl so much and I can't wait to watch their little relationship grow. Thank you to my daddy and soon to be Opa as well as my husband. What a truly sweet visit with family.

24 Week Baby Bump

Happy 6 Months sweet Aubrey
Number of weeks24 weeks
Measurement: right on track
Baby Size: According to the Bump, our baby is the size of a cantaloupe. At about 10.5 to 11.8 inches and about 12.7 to 20.8 ounces, baby's not just getting bigger, she's getting even cuter.
Interesting Fact: Her see through skin is becoming more opaque and pink.
Total Weight Gain: +10.8
Pregnancy Clothes: Oh how I love long, cotton maxi dresses. I'm really enjoying going strapless and just putting on a dress. It's nice not having anything too tight along my belly. Poor girl continues to hang out by my bladder, so I enjoy not having things real tight.
Tiger Stripes: Not too sure. I am using coco butter and haven't seemed to gain any extra little tiger stripes.
Symptoms: beautiful baby kicks and rolls, long nails, back pain, feet feeling swollen, leg cramps, and my belly button feels really stretched these days. I can't wait for it to pop.
Sleep: I have had some good days and some uncomfortable. I am fully side and back sleeping. No tummy sleeping for me. Baby girl will let me know she's not a fan of me collapsing her room. I still get up about 2-3 times per night.
Movement: I love feeling Miss Aubrey move. This weekend we actually were able to see my belly move on its own. I will say that she has to be in the mood to kick. Her hours are for sure at 10:00-11:00 and 1-3AM. Yep. She's already confused her days and nights. We try to give her little talks saying that mama needs some sleep, but she sure likes to party!
Most Memorable Moment: We enjoyed going home to see our families this weekend for Father's Day and my FIL's 70th birthday. It was sure special to show off Miss Aubrey as the last time I went I was 9 weeks along and I am now sporting a 24 week bump.
Cravings: watermelon, pineapple, queso, and sweets... not always in that order:)
Gender Predictions: We are welcoming our sweet daughter, Aubrey Rose Zellner in early October. I just love her name as it is a perfect combination of family history. Aubrey is Raymond's grandfather's name while Rose is my middle name and my Oma's (grandmother's) middle name. It truly is perfect! Her nickname will be Aubie (which does happen to be Auburn Tiger's name) or Aubaby when she's little.
What I Miss: sweet tea, margaritas, and bikinis.
What I look forward to: This weekend we are beginning the painting process. I can't wait to see her beautiful room come together:)

First Grade ROCKS and feeling Preggers!

The past few days have been a sure whirlwind and the crazy thing is that these two days have been the first days of summer! On Monday, I spent 7 hours back at my homeschool switching rooms to another first grade room. While I have loved my room with a door, it will be much nicer, to be closer to my team plus the air is a good 3 degrees cooler. This makes this preggo mama much happier. I will honestly say, I do love my new room and set up. Our theme this year is School Rocks! I love the cute little record and guitar additions I included with a good polka dot neutral room. I'm keeping my fingers crossed to keep the room which will just allow me to make minor changes as the theme changes. The plan and reason I spent my time in the school Monday was because I couldn't imagine an 8-9 month pregnant lady standing on top of a desk. I still have a few more changes to make as well as include all of my summer school material I had to take with me. Speaking of summer school, I really do enjoy working over the summer. I enjoy teaching and half days. The one day that typically is the hardest is the full day preparing, training, meet the teacher, and room set up... all within a short time period. The past two  years, my room has been a bit empty which has forced me to bring quite a few materials from school. This is absolutely fine. It is just difficult this year as I will be 6 months pregnant this week and am really starting to feel all of this up, down, lifting, moving, etc. Long story short, I am feeling pregnant. I know it's super early to be saying this and I am sure I'll regret it, but my body has just been really sore lately with all the moving and lifting. I definitely look forward to the days when Miss Aubrey and I can relax a bit... and by relax when summer school is over I just mean do all things baby:) From my rolly chair not rolling, to dropping my plastic buckets of materials, to setting up a second room within two days, to late lunches and lots of heat, I've definitely had a few melt downs the past few days. I am so thankful for this summer school opportunity and my opportunity to stay in first grade. I have loved my schools and am thankful for those I work with. I am just so excited for things to slow down a bit and to really be able to enjoy some lazy summer days at home:)
