A Vinyard Wedding

This Saturday, Ray and I traveled to Grapevine, TX to celebrate the marriage of Taylor and Alix Snell. It was a beautiful wedding centered in Grapevine's wine district at Delaney Vinyards. The decor was stunning and the location was absolutely breathtaking.

After the ceremony, the guests stepped out onto the patio along the vinyard for drinks and h'orderves. It was a perfect time to catch up with old friends as well as a photo opt.

After pictures and a quick change over from ceremony to reception, the night was in full swing. Here are the beautiful groom and bridal cake.

It was an amazing night of love, laughter, wine tasting, delicious food, and lots of dancing. From the Cupid Shuffle, the Wobble, and really trying to get someone to Teach Me How to Duggy, we had a blast! Sadly leaving the reception was not as magical as the night itself, since our 45 minute trip home turned into a two hour trek to the other side of the big D past 45. Seriously this lady is NOT allowed to drive home in the dark. Ha.

To the new Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Snell

We wish you a lifetime of happiness.  Here is to all the adventures that lay ahead. Remember the journey as compared to the destination. It is in the journey that life truly happens. Here's to the ups and downs, and everything in between. We wish you a very special Wedding Day!

Running Through my Mind!

There have been lots of tidbits running through my mind. So I wanted to jot down a few of them to update my blog.

- I will be teaching summer school as a kindergarten teacher for the first half of summer.
- Our favorite activity after a long day at work is to sit outside on the patio and play with the pups.
- I hate bugs!
- I am so excited to celebrate my sister-in-law's graduation from nursing school early this May with our Zellner family.
- I am attempting to get ready for swim suit season.
- My kiddos will be completing their final tests over the next two weeks. I am so proud of their hard work and am thankful for them. I am also excited to be wearing jeans during this testing period:)
- I love plants and pray I do not kill them. I may not have the green thumb I'd like to have.
- We will (most likely) go to Ray's 10 year high school graduation this summer.
- I am digging the gummies right now.

What are some of your fun tidbits... that are RUNNING through your mind?

Spring Patio Update

What an absolutely gorgeous weekend! This weekend after a wonderful service at the Heights, the husband and I decided to make our way to Walmart and Calloway Nursery to pick up a few Spring essentials. One of Ray and my favorite things to do now that we have beautiful Spring weather is to come home and enjoy time on our patio with the pups. So today we decided to Spring it up a bit. Here are a few photos of our Spring patio update

We have enjoyed beautiful days on the patio

Date Day with Duckee and Jacob Duke

This Saturday, Ray and our good friends ventured out to Roanoke, TX to become warriors once again at this year's Warrior Dash. While the husbands were away, the wives sure did play. Duckee and I enjoyed a day with her adorable son, Jacob, had a Chick-fil-A lunch (I know breaking the rule of no fast food...more on that to come), and relaxed outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. What a fun date day with Duckee. Enjoy some pictures of our afternoon. Welcome Spring and all the fun outdoor activities and date days to come!

TEN

Ten years ago, I met my husband. We met in highschool after my dance team spring show. Over the years, we have definitely shared ten years of amazing adventures. We've shared the ups and downs and everywhere in between. But today I focus on all that we have done together and those things still to come. From highschool, through college, to early adulthood, engagement, and over two years of marriage, I am thankful and blessed to call you my husband.

... and if you are wondering why this fabulously awesome picture was taken... Ray and his boys enjoyed an 80s themed Warrior Dash. For all of my Office lovers... this was the fashion show at lunch:) Happy TEN years to the love of my love!

Taco Tuesday in April!

Tuesdays are fun free nights in the Zellner household. Tuesday is typically the first free night of the week that the husband and I are both available. Tuesday is a night that we make plans with friends or spend time together. And on Tuesdays, Rosas has a $3.69 taco plate.

So this past Tuesday, we decided to combine a few of our favorites and enjoyed a Tuesday Taco night with three of our favorite Fants! This little cutie decided to join us on our side of the table. It had nothing to do with the extra queso that must have been calling his name;) Hey I will take and enjoy these special times!

Lazy Sunday

This weekend has been a whirlwind of exciting activities. From Friday's preparation, to Saturday's birthday celebration, we are happy but exhausted. This morning we awoke to more crazy storms, but quickly made our way to church as the husband and I would be serving our week in Joyland with the 4 year olds. This morning we had an excited bunch of kiddos that were filled to brim with energy. After several cute lessons and crafts, it was time to leave and return home. Today has been a great day of relaxation, of filling up the sink with dirty dishes, leaving the clothes baskets filled, munching on unhealthy food (this one I'm sure to regret tomorrow when we go to the gym;) playing with the pups, and watching a few redbox movies. I wish everyone a wonderful Sunday... especially a lazy one!

Grilling Up Some Birthday Fun!

Today my husband turned 28 years old. In 6 days we will have shared a decade of memories together. I am so excited for the adventures that we have shared and those that lay ahead. I am thankful for the excitement and the hiccups too as they too define our journey. Today we had the privilege of making more memories and celebrating with some pretty special people. For about a week we have been planning Ray's birthday which in turn was also our first house party. We have only been in this house for two weeks, but love that it is our home even though it is a continued work in progress. I just want to thank my husband as well as the friends that help make these moments so special. So without further adew... here is Ray's 28th Birthday Bash: Grilling Up Some Birthday Fun!

The night before the big shindig, the husband and I spent most of our night purchasing groceries, buying last minute decor, and setting up. We made our way through SAMs (I am seriously loving this place as it is where we also purchased our patio furniture.) Hobby Lobby (2X), and Kroger. Waking up on Saturday was a pretty early morning, but I was sure ready to get started. I blew up balloons..

(Toby was not a fan), set up the food table, and then made a morning breakfast as it has become birthday tradition to serve it in bed.

After morning breakfast, a doggy bath time, an unexpected neighbor visit, and setting up, we were ready to begin.

Our lunch menu included grilling hamburger sliders with toppings, fruit skewers, dips and spreads, crackers, cheese balls (of course), and watermelon fiz and other delicious drinks. Here are a few pictures of the food and decor.

From tasty food and delicious drinks, games, bubbles, pool time, doggy door fun, balloon rooms, and ice cream cake, I shall say that the party was a huge success. Enjoy a very large grouping of party pictures!
