Auby's Arboretum Adventure with our Fantlets

This Friday we enjoyed an Arboretum adventure with our Fantlet friends. Today the Arboretum hosted a petting zoo play and face painting area. The kids absolutely loved the animals. From a donkey, a few goats, sheep, bunny, and chicken, Aubrey wanted to pet them all. She even went around to each goat telling it all about the bunny and chicken. It was hilarious and a huge change from our cautious babe.

After our time at the petting zoo, we made our way over to the face painting station. There was absolutely no line, so we jumped right on in. I was unsure if little miss would even be ok with having her face painted, but she did great. The lady was fantastic and Auby sat so perfectly still.

I loved the way it turned out. I just love these sweet little pictures of Bryson and Auby together after their face painting session.

Once we finished, we walked around the flowered path until it was time to head to the children's playground. It was perfect for our range of kids. They explored the play area. It included water play, sand pit, maze, slide, lots of bugs, turtle talk, and dinosaur egg exploration. Enjoy pictures of our Arboretum Adventure in the children's playground

While our day was a bit hot, it was a perfect morning adventure for our littles. We give a big thanks to our Fantlet friends and enjoyed such a great morning of friendly fun! Our morning was a sure success!

Our Summer Splash Pad Pals

After our May monsoon, we have enjoyed beautiful and sunny summer days in North Dallas. To keep our little family cool in this summer sun, we have ventured out to the Splash Pad at Hope Park a few times this week. Our first family trip was a bit unsuccessful. About 10 minutes into our water play, she was sprayed in the face and quickly turned away while signing her "all done" hands and go go. Our next trip, we brought her little water bucket and shovel which made all the difference. We loved our day of water play.

We absolutely loved our little splash pad pal date with our Fantlet friends on Friday after school. From the moment the kiddos came, she said "Bryson and was all smiles as she ran in circles. We filled water buckets, sprayed water and took water to the face, played chase in the field, and enjoyed a little apple sauce snack time.

I am so excited about our sweet summer adventures of splash pad pal play and those still to come.

Ball Hunt Fantlet Play Date

Friday night we had so much fun with these little Fantlet cuties. Our little play date included indoor ball pit play, a game of Twister and Uno, puzzles, a boy's soccer game, a driving/riding race track for our princess car, stroller, and shopping cart, as well as Bryson's game of Ball Hunt. He placed 10 balls around the backyard and ask the girls to cover their eyes. Emily did a great job of listening to her Bubba.:)
Then the Ball Hunt began. We brought out our wooden basket from Christmas, a Halloween bucket, and Aubrey's Easter basket for this year. The babes loved Bryson's game. It was a perfect afternoon for baby play.

It took our girl a few extra minutes to catch on. She would follow her little baby besties for a bit, then she sat down with a book. After a little bit of watching, she began to "hunt" for her books but then quickly followed suit in the game of ball hunt. It was too cute!
Emily and Madelynn did such a great job following their Bubba's directions. He would say, "The balls are not here or here." He was such a good helper with the girls.
Enjoy a few more pictures of our time outside.
After about half an hour later, we decided that we would play with some confetti eggs. (Yes mama fail as my baby has one in her mouth... oops) The kids were so excited and kept saying, "more more."

I loved the way Bryson helped his little (girl)friend.
It was a tiring (per Emily's picture) and exciting afternoon of baby play with our Fantlet friends.

Pump It Up! Bryson Turns FIVE!

On Sunday January 25th, our family of three joined our Fantlet friends to celebrate Bryson's 5th birthday at Pump It Up! From jump houses, obstacle courses, and large blow up slides, from black lights, pizza, cake, ninja turtle themed pieces, and birthday besties, I have to say we would give this party a full FIVE stars!

 {Love these ladies and babes}

We definitely loved our time with sweet friends. Little girl was a bit unsure of the blow up houses, but quickly became acclimated and didn't want to leave.

After our time in the play rooms, it was time to celebrate the birthday boy with pizza, presents, and a delicious dessert.

I just loved watching our big girl sitting at the big kids table. She loved her slice of cheese pizza and cake! Plus it was fun sitting next to our sweet friend, Ellie.

Happy Birthday Bryson! We give you a big hug and a high FIVE for five amazing birthday years!
