So THANKFUL!

Happy THANKSgiving!!!

This year I have so much to be thankful for. I am so thankful for my husband and our cute family of 4!!! (including our kiddos Toby and Mattie) I am thankful for my friends and family. I'm thankful for all the love that is shared and the time spent. I'm thankful for all the memories I have and all those that are to come. I have been so blessed and thank the Lord for all HE has given us.

Again I am SO THANKFUL!

This Thanksgiving, Ray and I returned to Sugar Land to spend our first Thanksgiving as newlyweds with our families. We had such a wonderful time with both families, enjoying large spreads of food, playing fun games including a night of Giant G-men Jenga with my brother and his girlfriend, watching a great A&M football game (just a few min too short), celebrating an early birthday, catching up with old friends and a cute little baby, spending time with a total of 6 dogs... wow talk about a kennel:) and really just enjoying the holidays!

Wednesday: Arrive in Sugar Land: 10PM
Thursday: Lunch: Thanksgiving with the Waldrups; Dinner: Thanksgiving with the Zellners; Aggie game with my brother Chris and his girlfriend Melissa playing Giant Jenga
Friday: Went to the Tielke home to see my second family:) Spent time with Travis, Ashlyn, and Marc plus Travis' precious 1 1/2 year old baby girl Kamdyn. She is such a cutie; Movie day with my mama and Ray. We celebrated her birthday early:)
Saturday: Time with the Zellner Family and lots of puppies:)
Sunday: Spent time with the Zellners! Said our good-byes and returned home to Dallas!

Update: This past Thanksgiving I had the opportunity to visit with wonderful friends... family even. They have been a second family to me for what seems like forever. I love these wonderful people and have such a large place in my heart for them. Who are they? They are the Tielkes! Missy and Tim... second parents! Travis and Ashlyn... my bestest of friends and Little One! I love every moment we spend even though sadly I don't get too many since they live in Sugar Land and I'm in Dallas. But b/c of this I absolutely cherish every moment we do spend. This past Thanksgiving I was able to visit with Travis, Ashly, Marc (Ashlyn's amazing fiance) and baby Kamdyn... the cutest little girl ever... note the picture provided below:

And this is Ashlyn and Marc... such an adorable newly engaged couple that I am so excited about. They will be married in 2011! Ashlyn you are the sweetest girl and I am so excited for the two of you! Our MOON filled with HONEY!

Welcome to our HONEYMOON!

On Monday, November 16, 2009 Ray and I left a very cold and rainy Dallas, TX and landed in beautiful Cancun, Mexico! We took a short 30 minute drive to Playa del Carmen to our stay: The Iberostar Grand Resort.

For 5 days and 4 nights, my wonderful husband and I spent every moment with each other: on the beautiful beach, playing fun games, eating the most delicious food, going on exciting excursions, and taking tons of pictures to remember all the wonderful moments together:)

After all of the wedding funtivities, it was absolutely amazing to spend some quality time with my husband. Here are a few of the 388 pictures we took on our trip:)

Mexico was a sunny 22 degrees Celsius and PERFECT!


We celebrated the beginning of an amazing week together. I with my delicious Strawberry Margarita and Ray with his not so yummy espresso at La Brisa Cafe. He later would trade in that drink for a cervesa.

Well I'm sure you've guessed it... but we are officially MARRIED!!!!!

On November 14, 2009 both Ray and I were married at Cityplace in Dallas, TX. We are so thankful for all the love and support. We are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives.

I married the most wonderful man... my absolute best friend and couldn't be happier!

I'm going to be honest... I ABSOLUTELY LOVED OUR WEDDING! It was so unique to us and it was all that we could have ever wanted and asked for! We had the opportunity to speak to all our guests, eat some of the amazing food-even the chocolate fountain:), spend time with our friends and family while being by each others side.... and of course dance the night away! And yes as all brides say, it definitely flew by but our biggest goal was making sure we took opportunities to capture those special moments and really just enjoy every bit of it:)
