Balloon Festival Fun 2017

This September, our family enjoyed a HOT fun in the sun day at the Plano Balloon Festival.
From face painting, Kids Fun Zone activities, crafts, games, and a lot of hot sun, our afternoon was definitely a memorable one. This was our first year to attend the balloon festival during morning hours so we did miss the light the night or seeing large hot hair balloons. The kids definitely didn't seem to mind too much.  Enjoy some cute little photos of our family at the Plano Balloon Festival 2017.

Face painting was a must for our big girl. She went in knowing she wanted her magical unicorn. Liam did AMAZING on his first face painting experience. He was calm and didn't move one bit. I think both ladies did such a great job on our kids' face paint. From unicorn and soccer ball, face painting was a success... until the sun and some fingers had a hand in melting it off.

It was a fun afternoon but after feeling as though we might melt, we made our way to Jason's Deli for some delicious eats, ice cream treats, and a lot of air conditioning. Happy Balloon Festival fun. Until next years!

Celebrations, Friend Play Dates, Dance Friends, & September FUN 2017

Our month of September was filled with lots of friendly fun and celebration. We had days of busy and days of lazy. Enjoy a large picture post of sweet memories and friendships, of family fun and full hearts.

In September, we celebrated our friend, Allison, and her precious baby boy to come, Henry. We absolutely adore this sweet family and are thankful to call them our church family. Our hostess with the mostest, Amy, put on the cutest little diaper shower at Bread Winners with adorable fox diaper cake and all. Lots of hugs for this precious family and a fun ladies morning together, breaking bread, and celebrating our new little boy coming to the group.

As each summer draws to a close, I meet with several of my precious original kinders and their families. It is crazy to think these adorable kinders are now big 6th graders. This year we met in September to enjoy some ice cream and catch up. I am so thankful to catch up with these sweet hearts. Oh how I have loved watching them grow into such great young ladies and gents. I am so proud of them and all they have accomplished.

Mrs. Zellner is so proud of her original KINDERS!

We love my sweet friend, Keri! From her precious heart she offered to babysit our kiddos and gave my love and I a date night out. Thank you sweet Keri for our girls evening in and our sweet date night out. I am so thankful for our friendship and thankful to have had the opportunity to teach with you sweet friend.
One of our favorite afternoon activities after a day of play, is to rest with a delicious snack and watch one of our favorite shows. The kids have loved watching True and the Rainbow Kingdom, PJ Masks, and Super Monsters. I adore these afternoon cuddles with the kiddos.
We enjoy Wednesday night bible studies. Dinners at church can sometimes be silly and messy. This picture is one of my favorites where my little Liam love decided to go full hand in the burrito bowl.

I am so thankful for these sweet friendships. WE adore our friends, Cassidy & Logan. I love that they are only a few months apart from our kids which make play dates so enjoyable and fun to watch. Plus it helps that their mama and I are great friends and previous co-workers. These sillies are a hoot and make each gathering so worth while.
Pictured above was a celebratory pizza and ice cream date. Our afternoon was filled with delicious eats and sweet hugs and giggles from our littles. I love our time together.

Park and play dates with our Cox crew make for fun outing. We love our Hope Park play dates and time out with fun in the sun.

Celebratory dinners with our college crew brought back a decade of memories, growing families, and reminding us that family comes in all packages. I adore these amazing hearts and am thankful to call them family. I love doing life with each one of these precious people and love that life may take us in different directions, but can always bring us back together. I adore our college crew and remember It's All For You!
Aubrey's ballet class hosted a friends week. We invited our friend Cassidy to join us for a ballet class. The girls were all smiles for most of our sweet pictures (as Aubrey reminded me I could only take a few) and walked hand in hand into dance. I am so thankful these two were able to share some sweet ballet time together and of course take these adorable photos.

While September may have come to a close with lots of exciting activities, I had to end with this adorable photo. We left September with full hearts and full of silly. Thankful for the busy and the lazy for the sweet friends and family, and for all the amazing celebration that God provided for our month of September.

State Fair of Texas Fun 2017

The State Fair of Texas has become one of my fall favorites especially since we now go as part of Aubrey's birthday celebration. From games, fun prizes, delicious eats, and fun family treats, the State Fair is an absolute blast.
We definitely have our "MUSTS." As a family we love to play a few games, take special family photos, sample some of the years greatest fried favorites, and of course visit our Little Hands on the Farm.
This year's visit to the Fair was a beautiful and HOT October day. I surely love cuddling with my number one hottie in front of the ferris wheel!
While our littles may not have been super excited about photos with the sun in their eyes and little man surely was a bit fussy this trip, we did have one family favorite that our kids loved.
Our little hands had a super fun time on the farm. From petting and feeding farm animals, watering the plants, milking the cow, riding small tractors, and doing a good days farm work, our kids enjoyed their special time on the farm and even left with a good snack at the end.

And when at the State Fair you must take a picture with Big Tex. This year we didn't seem as afraid by the super tall, talking cowboy at the Fair.
On our list of must tries this year was the Funnel Cake Bacon Queso Burger. For my newly decided vegetarian, this was a very odd but delicious choice.

Another fun and exciting family fall day at the Fair is in the books. While our afternoon may have been hot and our little man was full of fuss, I have to say overall our special family day was filled with excitement and delicious treats with my favorite people.

Aubrey's FOUR

When did my little "Princess Kitty Kat" turn FOUR? My precious girl, you made me a mama and you expanded my heart more than I could ever have imagined. The Lord has blessed us with you and your brother and I cannot wait to see all He has in store for your life. What a true adventure it will be. My prayer is that you seek every day for His purpose. You remember that you are beyond loved by all that are around you as well as loved by your heavenly Father. Sweet girl, you will fall at times and life will provide challenges, but remain strong in faith and lean on Him as He is the author of your story. Remember your worth, precious angel, as you will be a light in the darkness. I pray for your happiness but above all I pray for holiness. I love you with all of my heart dear girl and have to say it has surely been a fun ride.
 {Watch you grow!

As your party and birthday fell on the same day this year, mommy had such a fun time making your annual birthday banner. This year as it was a Party Animal Paw-ty theme, I had to make these adorable letter animals. I love how they turned out and you were beyond excited to take a photo with them.
On the morning of your birthday, we all made our way to your room singing the birthday song. With balloons making their way downstairs and into the living room, your sweet and sleepy self was so excited that now you were FOUR. As you came downstairs to 4 "power donuts" and candles, you spotted your new bicycle. You were speechless but then squealed with excitement. Horsey horse quickly found his way into the basket and you climbed on top. Within a few seconds you hoisted yourself on top, within a few minutes were begging daddy for a ride, and by that afternoon were peddling around the house all by yourself.

After a delicious breakfast and full bellies, our kiddos enjoyed a show on the couch together. Super Monsters has become a new family favorite from the kiddos. Some littles are very excited to be celebrating an upcoming Halloween.

A few days later, Aubrey celebrated her special birthday at preschool in Mrs. Wolfe's class.
Guess Who is FOUR!
We love you precious girl. We wish you a very special year of adventure!
