College Crew Christmas

One of my favorite traditions each year is to celebrate Christmas with our college group. This year our party was held at our good friend, Mike's place. He had a beautiful display of Christmas decor including a popping fire streamed from his ipad.  Each couple also brings a delicious creation. This year our meal included sugar plums, bacon wrapped water chestnuts, dips, fruit bowl, macaroni, cheesy broccoli casserole, potatoes, and a delicious prime rib.

Our night was filled with sampling delicious treats, a fabulous gift exchange, and a great time to catch up with friends.

On Thursday night,
After the day was done,
Our Fant friends came over
For some fondue fun!
With hot chocolate and marshmellows,
And our fondue treat,
A night of friendships,
Can't be beat!

To our Fant friends
We are thankful for you,
and big boy Bryson,
And for the sweet twins too!

ABF Christmas Party

On Wednesday, the husband and I joined our ABF for our annual Christmas Party. This year our good friends, the Goodings, hosted the party. It was absolutely gorgeous. With handmade cards, cocktail attire, and dinner from Magianos, our night was a fun celebration!

Thank you Denise for letting me play dress up prior to the party. I would love to hire you as my personal shopper anyday. But oh how I love this picture. We do look like "Christmas!" lol.

Each year we truly have loved getting to share our lives with these couples. It is amazing to think this is year 3! So here's to Christmas blessings, sweet friendships, and to sharing Christ's love with others.

...for unto us a child is born. May you all have a blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

Bloggable Updates

With all the hustle and  of this holiday season and our current crazy schedule, it has been difficult to a keep up with the blog. Instead of attempting to try to write about each event, I decided that I would do a bloggable update post... one that includes Novemeber and December events that I sure didn't want to miss out on writing about. So here's a picture post of special moments in our lives over the past few months.

 3 Year Anniversary Celebration
Saturday morning breakfast at Mimi's Cafe
Beautiful Miss Harley Raider and her mama
Celebrating Jenn McLean and baby Ellie
Senior Pictures for my sweet niece, Kendall
Aggies Win over #1 Alabama!
Celebrating Bryson's 3rd Birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese
Decking the Zellner Walls
One of my favorite traditions... birthday Pedis with my girl K
ABF Christmas Party

I have to say that I am truly greatful for all the blessings in our lives. While these past few weeks have been challenging, I do have to remember that God is all-knowing and all-powerful. And while in this train of thought, I do hate to quote Twilight... but we always have today! I am so thankful for these moments and looking forward to those to come:)

There's no I in tEaM!

On Saturday, I had the opportunity to help suprise my best friend for a sweet Baby Shower at the Chocolate Angel Tea Room. Her family did a wonderful job throwing this beautiful shower. The Tea Room was decorated with festive Christmas decor and the food was absolutely delicious.  We couldn't be more excited for our sweet Fant Friends. As my card read... There is no I in "TEAM" but there sure is a "ME". To our sweet Madelynn and Emily, we are so blessed for you and cannot wait to meet you... but feel free to stay all nesstled warm in your bed with visions of sugar plums in your head. We will see you in a few short months. Enjoy sweet photos of family and friends and a sweet baby shower.

Decking the Zellner Walls:)

With all the holiday hustle and bustle, it is so nice to find some time to spend as our little family of four. The Christmas holiday is my favorite time of year. It is a  time to renew our spirits, a time of true celebration, and grace.

Oh how I love these two furball faces. I think these may be the cutest pictures of the pups I have to date. What a fun night with the husband. Our decoration began Sunday at 5 and ended at almost midnight. With stockings lined in rows, our first real Christmas tree, brand new ornaments from our Garden Ridge adventure, it was officially time to deck the Zellner walls. With hot chocolate in hand and Christmas music in the background, tired feet could not stop us. I definitely have to admit it was a great way to end our weekend.

So here's to busy schedules, long lines, and money that has never exactly grown on trees... I pray that this season we are ALL reminded what true service looks like, are filled with Christ love, and really see all the good that this season has to offer.
