Pumpkin Patching!

This Saturday the husband and I traveled to Frisco to our favorite Patch on the Prairie. On this very windy day, we enjoyed searching through all the large pumpkins until we finally found our family pumpkin. Enjoy pictures from our afternoon at the Patch!

This week has definitely been an adventure!

My days and nights have both been extremely long getting ready for my first conferences tomorrow. After 15-16 hour days... I have to say I am officially ready. So thankful for such a great team and looking forward to speaking to my kiddos' parents.

Good luck to all the teachers for the upcoming conferences! Happy early weekend:)

Fall Favorites!

I am absolutely in love with this amazing fall weather that has come to north Dallas. I love layering clothes, including a scarf in my wardrobe, the changing of leaves, and the coolness in the air. I love orange pumpkins and exploring patches with my husband... dreaming of the days that we will one day take our children to select and decorate their own. I love the smell of baking in our home and of course devouring tasty fall desserts. I love the warm decorations, theme parties, friend and family gathering and imagining all the things that I am thankful for. So here are some of my thoughts on this fabulous season and some of my fall favorites!

1. Pumpkin patches
2. Warm clothes
3. Thanksgiving meals
4. Theme parties
5. Gatherings with friends and families
6. Selecting pumpkins and carving
7. Fall decor
8. Fall scented candles
9. Pumpkin pie
10. Carmel Apple Cider

What are some of your fall favorites?

Date Night on the Square!

This Friday the husband and I enjoyed a date night in downtown Mckinney! We walked around the square, took in all the fall festive decor...

and finally made our decision for dinner. That night we dinned at Greggory's Bistro, a BYOB french restaurant on the square. While it was a bit pricey... it was absolutely delicious.

After dinner we even stopped at Paciugo for some tasty gelato.

What a special date night out on the square with the love of my life. While these past weeks have been extremely busy it is so important to take some extra time just for us:)
