Furry Friends at Fossil Rim & Digging Dinosaurs at Dinosaur Valley

This March, the kiddos and I enjoyed a fantastic adventure with our Fant friends to Fossil Rim and even dug for dinosaurs in Dinosaur Valley. Our morning may have began before the sun, but with a delicious Chick-fil-a breakfast in our bellies, we were on the road and so excited to visit many of our favorite furry friends.

Our first stop was to see the Bison. Bryson was adorable and asked if he too was named after his new furry friend. Aubrey just kept calling it a yak.
 {I had to take a picture with my little man.}

This 9 mile stretch of beauty was amazing! Filled with countless creatures that were so friendly many wanted to join us on our journey. It may have been the bags of food pieces that we were throwing from the car... but many even popped their heads in to greet us.

It was a perfect and gorgeous day filled with lots of furry friend sightings, a new giraffe baby only a few days old, and lots of excitement on our adventure with friends.

After lunch, we made our way over to Dinosaur Valley

The park was amazing! It was filled with countless hiking, walking, biking, and even canoeing paths. But our favorite was the river with fossil footprints. Of course this mama who is always anxious around water, had a little help walking the babes across the path but once arrived to the other side, loved every moment of it. The kids loved to explore.

 Is it sad I kept making The Good Dinosaur references?
Love these little explorers.
