Family Funday on a Monday

I am so thankful for this family funday on our Monday. This weekend was absolutely beautiful but our sweet babe was under the weather.

This morning Aubrey woke up fever free and feeling great. I was so excited for a day of mall fun and park play time with my loves. As we were getting ready for a morning of shopping and mall play, I just couldn't resist these pink sweet feet. I have to say I am in love with these adorable Wal-Mart cuties. The best part of this photo is that I had unintentionally caught this sweet shoe-la-la moment.

Our, morning consisted of shopping mall and play area fun, a car ride full of thrown O's, and a pretty decent afternoon nap. While baby rested, the husband and I spent the afternoon cleaning. For the most part, the house was pretty cleaned minus our bedroom and closets that I tore apart. The great thing with cleaning is that doors can easily be shut. Out of sight out of mind right?!?  Anyway after her nap and a quick lunch, we made our way to the park. Talk about crowded but oh so fun. She was very shy and stand offish at first. I'm really working on not hovering. Within 10-15 minutes, she was out and about and in full speed. I absolutely loved watching her explore.

After an hour or so of play, we decided to get some sweets with my sweets. We enjoyed cupcakes at Smallcakes in Frisco. They were absolutely delicious. We tasted lego my eggo and nutella wella. Auby was all smiles.

 It was a truly sweet ending to a super sweet day!

The Sick Bug

The sick bug found a way home with our sweet babe. On Friday I received a call from daycare that our little one was sick and would need to go home for the day. I have to say that I absolutely love my mama/baby cuddle time, but it breaks this mama's heart when she's hurting.

While our night was a hard one, full of tears and many sheet changes later, she was able to sleep some.
This was my viewpoint Friday night while baby girl as we watched Sofia the First and cuddled.

Saturday it seems we are on the mend. We are still in full fussy and cuddle mode, but definitely are starting to hold things down. With a short walk outside on this gorgeous day for some Vitamin D and a long nap, I'm hoping for some great progress this weekend. Bye Bye sick bug!

Our Monday Through Thursday

Monday: I absolutely love this great reminder. Through the ups and downs of life, "Don't forget to be AWESOME!"
Tuesday:  We enjoyed a night of Mama Tuesdays and Fantlet fun. I surely love these sweet faces and friendships. I also love special time spent with my bestie.

Wednesday: I could hold this little girl forever. After some sweet snuggles and a quick baby bath time, we made our way to the church for our ABF bible study. I'm excited and thankful for some time to spend to discuss real life application on being a Christian wife, mother, teacher, etc. I'm really looking forward to continuing my walk and dive deeper into His word.

Thursday: I am loving my kitten cutie and celebrating the 100th day and hat day at daycare. She was all smiles today.

Happy Monday through Thursday. We are so excited about this upcoming three day weekend and all of the exciting adventures as well as lazy days to come.

Our 2015 Firsts

The start of our New Year began with lots of fun firsts for 2015.

Our Tuesdays are so fun with our Fantlet friends. While the daddies are at Mens Bible Fellowship, the babes enjoy a night of friendship fun together while the mommies enjoy a glass of wine or two.

Our shoes are made for walking! I'm just loving my girl's new shoes. Thanks Oma for our first set of running shoes, as I feel like we are really moving and grooving these days. How are you getting so big baby girl?

{12 months, 13 months, 14 months, & 15 months}

Auby turned 15 months old at the beginning of this month. She's already so big!
Driving Miss Baby! Auby is loving her new baby and stroller. Thanks to our Fant friends for the sweet gift.

This month we were given some fun toys from a sweet co-worker and teacher friend. She is loving her wheels on the bus! The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep!

 {You've got mail!}
 We enjoyed our second trip to Chuck-e-cheese!
 Lunches and dinners out with the babe are little more eventful. You want to be everywhere. We went to Rosas for dinner before bible study. You loved looking at the colorful birds and sun. Our dinner was about 20 minutes long before you were ready to be up and out of there.
 I am so thankful for days without plans. We love our lazy Fridays!
I love cookie cutter pancakes on lazy Saturdays.

Trips to the mall have become a family favorite. Auby was a little unsure of her first escalator ride, but quickly fell in love.

Sunday morning play before church. It seems like baby girl is always in a blur these days. Love our little girl.

Happy First Days of 2015!

Auby's Month-iversary Series: 15 Months

Dear Auby,
I cannot believe you are 15 months old sweet girl. Each day has been filled with so much joy, fun, and adventure. We have seen healthy and sick days this month as well as our fair share of tantrums and tears. You are our quiet and shy little lover as well as our happy and outgoing whirlwind. We love every bit of your sweet little personality and love watching you grow and change daily. Happy 15 months sweet babe! To our shy, outgoing, independent, happy, tantrum, sweet, loving, giggle bug. We love you sweet girl!

Your 15 month pictures today made mama's heart so sad for you sweet girl. You were so stuffy and fussy. This round of molars, teething, and winter season has really made the start of this new month hard on you babe.

Date: 1/7/2015
Age: Fifteen Months
Measurements: Weight- 22lbs (36%); Height- 31in (67%); Head Cir- 17 5/8 (19%)
Even after 3 shots and a few tears at our 15 month pedi appointment, our babe is a champ. Duckee play with daddy can make everything better.

Clothing: While you have a very select few 12 month items including some longer onesies and a few pants/leggings, you are almost exclusively in 12-18 month and many 18 month piece tops/pants. I still love all of the warm sweaters, hats, and adorable shoes that we get to dress you in during this winter season. You are officially in size 4 shoes. I just love your little shoes.

{Auby's sweet feet}

Sleeping: You are typically a great sleeper. You go down at 7PM and wake up at 6AM during the school week, but sleep in until about 7AM on weekends. You will let us know when you need to go to sleep. You love reading books before bedtime. Due to this nasty winter cold season, you are currently sleeping with your bed elevated, your humidifier runs nightly, and you sleep with two stuffed animals (deer and Ah-dog). We have had to use saline and the nose frieda pretty frequently as a cold and new molars have been keeping you a bit fussier than normal. (note the 15 month pictures). You also love holding the saline. During night time we are still giving you a bottle and slathering on the Orajel. You also nap once a day typically from 11-1. You are a great napper at home and at school.

Eating: This month you have really not been a big fan of eating. While you will eat, I'm thinking your molars have really been keeping you from doing so. With that being said, there are some foods you do love. Your favorite flavor must be blueberry as you will pretty much eat anything of that flavor including your blueberry breakfast bar and blueberry yogurt. You are also our meat eater. You will pretty much eat any kind. You love veggies including carrots, broccoli, peas, green beans, corn, etc as well as many different types of fruit. You love cheese. Aubrey you definitely are our independent baby as you want to do everything yourself. You absolutely love to use a fork and spoon. Most of the food makes it to your mouth. Yogurt days are pretty much a guaranteed bath day. You also love to feed Mattie which pretty means your leftovers will somehow be thrown onto the floor. We're still working on the using our words bit. You quickly sign all done and then the throwing and tears begin.
