SOLD

When I first pictured this post in my head it would read the word... SOLD in big bold print with a huge smiley face followed by thousands of exclamation marks. But this is not the case or at least it isn't the case for us. For the past few weeks, Ray and I have been eagerly house searching... until we found this home! It was absolutely perfect! After our first open house, we did several double takes, and found ourselves telling our realtor that we wanted to move forward within minutes of opening the front door. Sunday at 4:30 we finished the open house. Monday night at 9:00PM, we met at Starbucks to formulate a bid. Tuesday the bid was sent and countered. Wednesday we found out that we lost. Now as I write this post I am honestly fine. (This may have not been the case on Wednesday night:) We found out that we were in a bidding war with five other couples and the couple that got the contract paid well above asking price. Yes I heard from many others that this is typical and not to get attached but of course that was not going to happen to us... right?!?! I just knew that this was OUR house. But I know that God is in control and has such an amazing plan for our lives and OUR house. I know it's out there and cannot wait to find it. So for those who may have been reading Facebook, I do apologize for my attitude as of late and have had some time to realize what's really important. I 100% know that we will find our house and it will be PERFECT for our little family!

Double Dinner Date at Casa Ritas!

Saturday night we had a double dinner date with our friends, the Dukes, at Casa Ritas in Frisco. I absolutely LOVE Casa Ritas as I do love my Mexican food and of course... look at the size of this burrito!

The food was AMAZING...but so was our company. :) I love spending time with Duckee and Adam. It was a great night of catch up with great friends and the food was delicious. I look forward to another night with our sweet friends and of course their little man.

Babysitting B-Rice, Our Super Hero!

Last night, Ray and I had the opportunity to watch this adorable cutie while his parents enjoyed a fun date night out. From basketball, yoga, tickle fights, flying through the air, tasty pizza with a side of Bubble Guppies and UmiZoomi, as well as puzzles, trains, Superhero jammies, and story time, we had an absolute blast! Here are some fun pictures of our night with our favorite little Fant. But where is our little super hero? Where is Bryson?

House Hunting, Babysitting B-Rice, and Fun Days in February!

While we are only a few weeks into the month of February, that doesn't stop us from enjoying every moment of it... From house hunting, to Gellner ladies hair salon days, lunch dates, lazy nights at home with our furbabes, and hanging out with our favorite little Fant, we sure are having a blast.

100s Day and Kinder Letters

100s day was quickly approaching and I couldn't wait to celebrate with my Kindergarten Kiddos. From rockstar stickers, buttons, flowers, zoo stickers, puzzle pieces, ribbons, and smiley faces, the 100s day shirts were so fun and super cute. We enjoyed graphing 100 items, creating a gumball machine with 100 pieces of candy gumballs, writing about when we are 100, and all the crafty cool activities for the 100th day of school.

That same week, we also made birthday cards for one of our friends and one of my kiddos I worked with last year. Here were some of the cute letters my kids wrote. I love just how sweet their words are.

Lazy Day with Mattie Mae!

Almost four years ago, this little cutie joined our little family. We were never looking to be a two dog family, but after a sweet puppy sitting weekend, we knew that Mattie Mae was ours. I love spending cozy snuggle time with this sweet pup. Oh how I love my lazy day with Mattie Mae!

Toby Turns FIVE!

This February 2nd a famous groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter (as if we've had one this year) AND... but most importantly, our first born furb turned FIVE! Our independent, strong-willed puppy celebrated his birthday by enjoying several extra treats, his choice of couch space, turn down service with his favorite blanket... so a typical day in the Zellner household. But as always this boy was loved. Five amazing years of "puppy parent-hood." We love you sweet boy!

I can eat a bow if I want to...
