Road Trip to Sugar Land: So after no sleep... a 4 plus hour drive back home can be a little taxing on the mind. But when it comes to road trips, my hubby and I do them well. He loaded up on Monster Energy Drink and 80s music and I on mint chocolate chip Girl Scout cookies... YUM...and we were off.
We decided after rocking out to fun 80s tunes and all versions of We are the World (yes there are more versions of random ppl singing on u-tube... great stuff... we decided that if we had a band it would be called
Clouds of Awesome... mainly because during the middle of the drive I randomly starting taking pictures of the clouds through his sun roof (gosh it was a gorgeous day!) and said... "honey, these clouds look awesome!" Well he heard part of it... I know... we are pretty random but its fun having a great hubby/side kick beside you making you laugh all the way home!
This past weekend we had the opportunity of spending time with our families in Sugar Land. And yes while it was extremely short I absolutely love and value the time I spend with them. This trip was even more special... Ray's great aunt and uncle (Ann and Rollin) were in from Virginia... and surprisingly enough had been in Orlando the same week I was there. It is such a small world! Plus his 2nd cousin Margie and his uncle Bill was there as well on business. I was also able to catch up with Ray's family and my wonderful sister-in-laws! We always have a blast when we are together.
Enjoy some pictures from the weekend!

My beautiful Zellner sisters (minus one special girl that was there in spirit! We love you Farrah!)

The Kid's Table... ha! Married and will always be at the kiddie table for dinner. I wouldn't have it any other way. Picture includes: Ray's cousins Stephen and Will. Becky and her man Todd, Rachel, and us:)
Then I decided what a perfect time for a photo opt and the not so successful attempt at "jumpy pictures!" This is what we got:)

Then it was decided that we should jump off something... and it sadly lead to a broken plastic chair and this...

What can we say...
We had enough of the jumpy picture and decided to return to the group where Todd was showing us his bike skills...

We had an amazing time with the Zellners. We got to catch up with family, eat a delicious meal... Thank you Nana... oh and set up Ray's Nana with facebook:) All too much fun!

I also got to see my family! We played tons of speed scrabble and even got to eat at Larrys Enchiladas! They are so yummy!

Here is a picture of my two favorite boys! I love you guys and cannot wait for another visit!
Love,
Alicia
