Tis the Season to be Merry 2016

Our Christmas season was filled with family, friendship, and festive fun. While over our holiday we enjoyed many different types of gifts, the most important being the gift of Jesus. We had so much fun sharing our faith and festive cheer with our kids. So enjoy lots of wonderful merriment in our 'Tis the Season to be Merry 2016 picture post

This year was made extra special as Ellie our magic giving elf came for a Christmas visit. Her note for children read,

So while we enjoyed lots of festive fun at the house, our main goal was to focus on giving and sharing with our three year old.

We love the Lucky Duck Kids Club put on by Watters Creek. This Christmas holiday, they held Elves Inc activities. We enjoyed making sweater craft ornaments, eating delicious chocolate chip cookies, and of course taking sweet family photos. What made it extra special was that daddy was able to join us this holiday.

We celebrated Three Trees this Christmas season reminding us of God's perfect gift to all his children. We are so thankful for the 80+ souls saved this holiday and remember the true reason for the season

{Over 300 families and 1100 people served this Christmas season.}

This December, our family celebrated a beautiful night in the park to see the Vitruvian Lights of Addison. Each tree was a different strand and color. Aubrey loved running through the grass and sidewalks. It was a fun night of beautiful lights, a wonderful walk in the park, and a night to celebrate the beauty of the season.

We enjoyed our annual ABF Christmas Party. I absolutely adore these couples and am truly so thankful for their friendships. I love the opportunity to serve and do life alongside them.

While the season is always filled with a bit of craziness and chaos, I can truly say this season was filled with joy and adventure. I'm so thankful for the beautiful memories made and the moments spent loving life and remembering the true reason for the season. Jesus is a gift for everyone!
