{Fun with my favorite sweater wearing dinosaur}

Early December the husband and I helped host our bible study's annual Christmas party and were in charge of dΓ©cor. This year we went for a Tacky Sweater Christmas theme. It was amazingly tacky and absolutely perfect. I am incredibly thankful for these amazing couples we get to do life with. Each week we learn more about God's calling for our ABF and our church We love living life with PURPOSE!

Holiday Happenings 2017

Christmas is always a magical season. It is filled with fun family traditions, magical moments, time with friends and family, holiday parties, lots of delicious eats, and special moments made with those we love. This Christmas was a truly special one. After 15 years together, countless adventures made and holidays spent traveling, we decided to stay home this year. This was a very difficult decision as we know we would be missing many of our loved ones, but were so thankful for the  special opportunities with our little family this year. This holiday was filled with a lot of fun new traditions and filled with a whole lot of love. Enjoy our Holiday Happenings this 2017 Christmas season.

We live for relationships-for people to share life with, to laugh, to explore, and have adventures. Friendships that last a decade. When miles may be between you, we jump for the moments to enjoy those friendships and make new memories.

I adore working with 5 very fantastic teachers who teach 4 year old preschool. This Christmas season, we enjoyed a fun family night of Christmas celebration, cookie making, and potluck dinner. Thankful for our wonderful hosts, amazing teachers, and doing life with these fun families. It was a wonderful night of celebration and holiday fun.

The first Saturday of each month, Home Depot hosts a new craft for kiddos. We met up with our Fant friends for a fun Gingerbread making Saturday morning at Home Depot. Aubrey loved spending our morning with our friends and making her Gingerbread wooden house.

This Christmas I had so much fun making Christmas name crafts with the kiddos.

As advent season is here, I enjoyed making lots of hands on crafts and experiences with the kids to explain how Jesus is the reason for the season. From baking delicious eats, making DIY advent cards, and even meeting our Shepherd, Joey, from the Shepherd on the search, we have really enjoyed making this holiday truly special and all about Jesus.

With holiday happenings comes a lot of special time in the car. While many moments are filled with screaming and throwing of food and books, moments like this make my mama heart filled with so much love and joy!

1st Annual Decoration Day πŸŽ„πŸ¦„πŸŽ‰πŸŽ…πŸ»πŸŽ€πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‚

On Thanksgiving Day my little family began our first annual Decoration Day.
After many days of celebrating Thanksgiving with family and friends, it was time for a tradition change. Today we welcomed our Christmas season with a decorating party! Rice Krispie Christmas houses in our Christmas jammies and candy decorating/eating for the win! What a fun and super sweet day with my loves.

 {A delicious new tradition}
 {Daddy/daughter decorating}
 {Liam love crafted and ate much of his krispie Christmas house}
{I adore this little messy man! He had the right idea about eating while you go. Love him and his sweet tooth.}
 After some delicious Christmas Krispie houses, the family adorned our newly purchased Christmas jammies and began the Christmas transformation in our house. May our hearts be filled with joy this holiday season but always with a heart for the true reason for the season.
 {Me and my mini girl}
 {My Christmas boy. Liam loves daddy's Christmas hat.}

The newest addition to our house was our children's Christmas tree. They each picked out their first ornament. Liam chose a Chase ornament from Paw Patrol while big sister selected Elsa from Frozen. They could not have been happier to decorate and love on their little tree. By the end of the month, this sweet tree was decorated with pom pom balls, dollar store snow flakes, colorful candy canes, and bells.
Happy Decoration Day this Thanksgiving. May we enjoy fun family traditions, finding the simplicity and sweetness of all the season has to offer without forgetting the true reason for the season.
