Favorite Christmas Moments 2010

Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time!

This Christmas break was absolutely amazing! It was filled with such wonderful moments and of course hundreds of pictures. If you were able to make it through the previous post I absolutely commend you. So this post I thought I would keep it light and post some of my favorite comments/moments in a list (of course all in random order)

- This was our first Christmas with our entire Zellner family including our sweet family from Alabama
- I must apologize to my bro and sis-in-law for getting Olivia hooked on chapstick or as she calls it... "I want some lips or lipstick." She is a sly little lady as it took me almost 15 minutes to get mine back. ha
- Days before Christmas my brother got engaged. This was the first time we met our soon-to-be nephew, Aiden.
- Olivia is not a fan of Santa. Christmas day she called Santa on the cell phone to explain that she did not like him. Christmas Eve she reminded us that Santa was not allowed to come as we were to lock up so he could not come in. She may also be the first child to run back up the stairs once she was told that Santa came Christmas morning (seriously this was one of the cutest moments ever)
- Our gift to our Zellner family this year was that we hired a friend to do family photographs for us. It seemed that the entire family thought our "gift" was that I was pregnant. Oops. My sweet sister-in-law Rachel almost bought me an expectant Aggie mom shirt. Love it!
- This year Ray and I enjoyed making fun sweet treats for the family including chocolate covered pretzels and two types of fudge
- Rachel found the pickle this year
- "No wine zone... cheese!" Ok this was one of my favorite sayings that I taught my niece. The saying was a bit confused but I think the concept was there. What I meant was this is a no whining zone and I wanted her to smile. So I guess that's what it kind of ended up being.
- Explain to me why it can be 60-70 degrees on Christmas Eve?!?!
- Farrah gave the sisters a sweet personalized butterfly necklace that had all four of our birthstones on it. I love it!
- PJ party play date on Christmas Eve
- Ray and Farrah dance battled to Just Dance 2 and Farrah won!
- My mom and I enjoyed an amazing girl's day as we drove to Wimberly to visit my Great Aunt Alice
- Ray drove my father's corvette for the first time
- This trip we've enjoyed both Fazoli's and Pita Pit
- It is a two year tradition to read Luke Chapter 2 out of the bible on Christmas

What fun and very special moments we shared this holiday season!

Christmas 2010

'Twere the days of Christmas
and all through the town,
Came festive tidings and joy with love all around.

Decorations were hung in the apartment with care,
With treat making and gift exchanging oh did we share.

Now we were all packed and ready to go,
To the Land of Sugar with no chance of snow.

But oh how happy and excited were we,
With thousands of pictures taken next to a tree.
