CDC Preschool Fours Fun

This past year, I have felt the nudging in my heart to work at our church's preschool. So I followed my heart and applied. After hearing that I would be the new 4s preschool teacher for students going three days a week, I was beyond excited. What a fun opportunity to enjoy my passion for teaching as well as being near my own two kiddos as they both attend preschool. This past week we spent all 4 days in CPR and new hire training. In addition we had several days to set up our rooms, lesson plan with our new team (by the way I am so excited to work with these amazing ladies, and to even meet our kiddos. Tomorrow is our first day of school. I am so excited for this opportunity and send prayers for my kids and their families that God may work through them this year and open their ears and hearts to what God is calling them to do. May they know just how much they are LOVED!

My Tiny Dancer Take Two: Fall 2017

 We are so excited to be back to our favorite dance studio this fall season. This past summer we had the opportunity to do a three week ballet summer camp with our sweet friend, Eva Mae. It was such a fun, energy-fill summer, we decided to sign her up for ballet/tumbling class this fall. She absolutely LOVES Miss Haley, her teacher, and her sweet friends at dance. It has definitely become our weekly family favorite activity.

As this weekend was Labor Day, and my 33rd birthday, daddy surprised me with a day off from work. We were so excited that he was able to attend Aubrey's ballet class. I have to admit we were pretty excited to have him there too!

Zoo Days, Hair Cuts, Birthday Ducks, and Park Play Mean Summer Fun

Our Summer was filled with lots of sun and fun. As Summer is officially drawing to a close, we enjoyed several fun friend and family activities including zoo days, Liam's 2nd hair cut, and some Lucky Duck Kids Club birthday and craft fun.

Summer Living & Summer Loving Moments

This summer has been in full gear and is now coming to a close. We have been go, go, go these last few months. From dance and swim lessons, CG workouts, free events, vacations, play dates, swim and splash pads, and lazy days at home, our summer has been full. My heart has been full this summer. It has been filled with love, excitement, adventure, but if we were being honest it has also been a bit rough. I feel like the past few years we have been in a season. A season of loss, of family illness, of my own mommy guilt, of a baby with colic that is now 16 months that has never really slept through the night and postpartum blues have been a real thing. I have been overwhelmed and had to ask for forgiveness more times I can count. But with that, I have also had moments that are completely indescribable and have filled my heart with so much love. These two (while some days may be super trying and I have eaten my weight in sweets) are my heart. Nothing is more sweet to my mommy heart then watching these two together. While hours may seem so hard at times, these precious moments make it all worth it. I know God has such a precious and perfect plan... not without struggle or hardship, but by leaning on Him, all things are possible. So without further adieu, our summer living and summer loving moments are provided below.

 I'll snuggle this little heart forever. I adore the precious moments big sister and I have together when it's just us girls. Aubrey has been such a little snuggler. She reminds me how much I am loved and for me to never leave her.
 She loves big arm snuggles and kisses. Hugs from the babes are more precious than gold.
These littles have grown so much over the summer. New jammies were just what their growing bodies needed. On a Walmart trip, Aubrey helped me pick jammies for both the babes.
 May Batman and my deep ocean dreamer wish you well rested nights and sweet dreams. Bedtime stories have become a family favorite. If only my Liam love could sleep through the night.
 These littles are my people. Morning jammie party, snuggles, and sitting on your sister are the best. Liam has become our sweet little book worm.
Getting back into the word has filled my days with purpose. I pray through my study of Romans that we may do as Romans 1:11-12 says.
What would the end of summer be without the new season of Game of Thrones. While I do have to have my husband remind me of names and key points, I have really enjoyed watching GOT. And just to go ahead and get this out of the way... Winter is Here.
On a lunch date with daddy and his co-workers, Aubrey met a co-worker's daughter, a sweet little red head named, Juliet (only days younger than Liam). Then she told me she just loves her and soon I came to find out that she had red hair and was also her new baby sister. Seriously look at the love of these first time friends.... as little man is playing it cool.
I am obsessed with roses (love my middle name) and this fun craft we made in MOPS last year. It is the perfect reminder that when we gather at this table (dinner table); we are together; and this is home.
This little man is all about books. While he may be more into eating and tearing them, he does love to grab a few and then bring them to your lap for a good family reading session. This teacher's heart is happy!
For Father's Day I treated the husband and best friend for a 90 minute stand up paddle board experience at White Rock Lake. Nothing could stop these two including a morning rain shower. But as quickly as it started, it ended and our boys were out on the water. Two thumbs up for a great work out and a great afternoon of fun!

 {Aubrey, Maddi, and Cassidy}
Every third Thursday of the month, we join friends for an afternoon of Lucky Duck Kids Club crafts and entertainment at Watters Creek. It is always one of our summer favorites. On this day we joined my old school co-worker, Hue, and her daughter and niece for an afternoon of Kids Club fun: All about Bugs!

What an exciting and hilariously fun, hands-off let them be kids and princesses) play date with our Fantlet girls. Aubrey loved spending the morning with Madelynn and Emily as Liam wanted to be everywhere they were. I loved watching them play, pretend, enjoy a picnic, lunch, watch a bit of movie, and enjoy a small popcorn party, and just love on each other. I absolutely adore these sweet friendships.

Happy National Coloring Book Day: August 2nd! What a fun little coloring celebration at Willow Bend today with the littles.

 {Afternoon fun with my little love buggies}
 After an intense and super hot morning work out, it was a perfect day for a pool and picnic party with our Fant friends. Loved watching our little fish enjoy the day! It was a perfect ending to a great morning of summer fun!
We have enjoyed our first Saturday of the month Home Depot family craft days here in the Zellner house. This time Liam even joined in on the fun. We still may be a ways away from letting him attempt anything with a hammer again.

I love my shooting star and her excitement about her time at VBS this week learning about God and spending fun time with our Voss boys.

 {Nolan, Aubrey, & Parker}
Because every morning should start with a stylish hat, a curious little monkey, and a bottle. I have also loved these extra snuggles this week with my littlest while big sister has been at VBS! Love his snuggles.

After a fun morning at VBS, I took the littles to the Library. We enjoyed about 15 and a half minutes of books, puppets, and toys before we were in full Liam melt down mode. It was a good little stop before we left for home- a good lunch and rest time solves all tantrums.

On weekends, we love to take advantage of fun with daddy. After this exceptionally hot weekend of cleaning the garage, we definitely earned a sweet treat.

We even met up a few times this summer with our ABF friends. This night the ladies and little ladies enjoyed a night at Jumpstreet. It was so fun to let them run, laugh, and play as the mamas had an opportunity to catch up.

 {Hugs from Eva Mae}

This summer we met sweet baby, Johnathon, the third boy if the Cox family. Oh did I enjoy sweet snuggles with this little man as well as enjoyed watching the bigger kids have a fun play date.

Sunday portraits before church. Thankful for my husband's teaching on Hosea 2 today in ABF. Reminded of God's forever faithfulness. 7.23.17 God is bigger than any circumstance.
