The Hands & Feet of Three Trees 2017

Three Trees is here! We are so thankful to serve alongside a church who places mission and service central to its heart. Today we will assist in serving 300 families and over 1100 children and help show the love of Jesus! Thankful for the relationships and love that go into making today happen.

Our hearts have been involved in Three Trees for the past 6 years. It holds such a near and dear place in our hearts. I am so thankful that we get to grow our children up in a church that speaks to being the Hands and Feet of Jesus. To show love to others unconditionally and to love as He loves.

So thankful for this great team of people including Juan (not pictured) thankful for these great faces, for the fantastic time together, of delicious cookie treats, the hot chocolate run, and almost getting a space heater as we were a bit frozen. But with this said, it was all for HIS glory}

My role at Three Trees is to serve as the coordinator for interpreters. I send communications and set up approximately 100 bilingual speakers for the evening. I work with a fantastic staff member named Juan who I could not do this job without. We begin pretty much in July each year to prepare for our December Three Trees date. It is filled with excitement as I have worked with so many of these wonderful volunteers for years as well as a bit of anxiety as we increased the numbers to 50 more bilingual volunteers, but God is forever faithful and always provides. I am so incredibly thankful and humbled by this amazing opportunity to serve. After checking in our interpreter volunteers, I caught up with our ABF bible study and enjoyed an evening of serving and spending time hosting families. Until next year Three Trees. We are thankful for the amazing night, our bodies are tired but our hearts are full.

Crafting Cuties & A Magic Carriage Ride

Watters Creek always has such cute crafts for the kiddos. This Christmas we made our way out to Elves Inc for a fun Thursday Christmas craft night with our friend Cassidy and her cousin, Cam.

These cuties had a super fun time making this adorable Rudolph the Red Nose Ornament ball. With two googly eyes, a red pom pom ball for a nose, brown crate paper, and pipe cleaner ears, it turned out adorably cute.

This little guy may have had more fun placing the eyes and nose then taking them off. His ornament was definitely DIY by a one year old, but was still fun.

Daddy even got some boy time with Liam. I mean when you see a 6K gold guitar, you have to go see it.

And when given two pretty photo props, you have to take a hugging picture with your sibling.

It was definitely a sweet afternoon of free crafting fun with our friends. Plus we enjoyed a celebratory cookie treat on our way out.

After our afternoon of crafting fun, we enjoyed a family date night and magical (AND COLD) carriage ride.

While at Watters Creek, we decided to take a carriage ride. With the line being somewhat short, what a wonderful and magical night for a Christmas carriage ride. I'll be honest, it was a cold wait, but with hot chocolate in hand and lots of cuddles, we made our way to the carriage ride, and enjoyed a beautiful night of lights and cuddle time with family.

I'm thankful for sweet moments such as this. Moments in time to remember the magic of Christmas time with family and friends. From adorable crafts to magical moments of Christmas carriages, our night was so special and fun!

Christmas Pizza & Pajama Party 2017

Happy Christmas Pizza and Pajama Party with our College friends and precious littles. In early December, we invited a few of our college friend families to our house for a pizza and pajama party. We were dressed for a comfy and cozy cookie making and pizza eating night of fun with friends. Enjoy some fun holiday photos with our sweet friends.

Our kids range from age 7-1 but all have so much fun together. I have loved watching these adorable friendships grow and love the cute activities they do together.

Tis the season for friendship fun, delicious eats, special treats, and for time in celebration!

After dinner, the kids enjoyed cookie making with all the special add ons. From chocolate icing, sprinkles, marsh mellows, and chocolate chips, our kids surely got their fill of sweetness at our party.

After using all of our energy but filling our bodies with lots of sweetness, the kids all joined on the couch or performed some form of gymnastics trick, for a little Grinch watching video. It was a perfect opportunity for a photo opt.
