Chuck-E-Cheese & Christmas Eve

After our Zellner Christmas welcome, we enjoyed an afternoon of family fun at Chuck-E-Cheese. I was so excited for an afternoon of play and exploration. I was also interested in seeing how baby girl would do in this new environment.
As we explored the not so crowded Christmas Eve floor filled with toys and loud noises, we came across Ducky Splash. She loves quack quacks and stood and stared. She is our little observer which pretty much helped to break the ice when it came to game play.

Aubrey quickly warmed up and we rode several trains and climbed jungle gyms and slides.

Our next stop was skee ball. When the balls rolled down, she was a bit nervous. We tossed a few until a little boy came and took the rest of her balls. We ended our game with two tickets which she was beyond excited for.

 {Two tickets-score!}

After a bit of exploration and fun, our full Zellner family had arrived including my MIL, FIL, sister-in-laws, and Alabama family. Let the family fun begin!

From Wheel of Fortune, fun photo opts, basketball, skee ball, and a picture with Chuck-E-Cheese himself, we sure had a lot of laughs. And to say that Aubrey had a good time was a bit of an understatement. Love these baby giggles.

After our afternoon at Chuck-E-Cheese, we came back for a Christmas Eve celebration. With dinner and family fun, our evening ended with the reading of the bible and the Christmas story.

Baking Up Something Sweet: Our Waldrup Christmas

Our Waldrup Christmas began with baking up a few sweet treats with Oma.
From rolling out handmade dough, to using Oma's special cookie cutters, and placing the sprinkles on the cookies, we sure made some sweet moments this Christmas with our Waldrup family. Making Christmas cookies is one of my favorite holiday past times with my mama.
It was surely special to celebrate our tradition with Auby this year.

After a few baby snuggles and a Waldrup family photo, it was time for our gift exchange to begin.

In our family, we pass out stockings first and then distribute gifts afterward. As always, Santa was good to us. Each year our stockings are filled with fun necessities, treats, and always a lottery scratch off. For the past two years, my brother, Chris, has won! Enjoy photos of our Waldrup Family Christmas.

My mom's gift was truly a special one this year. For our anniversary, Ray set up a date to recreate my Oma and Opa's (my mom's parents) wedding picture. He laid out an outfit that would mimic the outfits worn. He even ordered a corsage for me to wear. This picture has such special meaning in my family and made for a perfect gift.

Before our final moments before our Waldrup family Christmas came to a close, my mom brought down my great grandfather's hand made rocking horse.

We truly had such a special Christmas with our Waldrup family. From dinners around the table, baby play, family traditions, special visits, cookie creations, & lots of laugh and love, we are truly blessed. Merry Christmas and many cheers to baking up something sweet!
