... this sweet little blog post may have taken almost 5 months to write, but the heart was still there. I am so thankful for these sweet friendships and these amazing moments in time. I look forward to many more vacations and adventures in our futures!

We SHORE loved our Gulf Shores vacation this summer with our Fantlet friends. From our daily slumber parties, adventures on the beach, days at the pool, dolphin watching, fun drinks, delicious eats, parasail adventures, and making memorable moments with our besties, I have to say this was an incredible vacation.
Thursday: Our Arrival
We arrived Thursday afternoon to our beautiful "conto." We were all mesmerized with the beautiful water and sandy beach. I couldn't wait for our vacation to begin. We spent a few hours at the beach soaking up our beginning moments of fun in the sun with our sweet Fant friends.
The girls telling fun stories about the beach and the condo or "conto"as the children continued to repeat.
{First day kid exploration}
Day 1: While the men were away, the mamas and kiddos did play. Day one we enjoyed our time at the pool. The water was perfect and the play toys were plentiful. Little girl was a bit fussy and little boy was a bit sleepy, but after a bit of bribery from a red lobster floaty, and a creative napping station for little man, all was perfect and relaxing on this beautiful day with friends. I did get a few eyes from some on lookers about Liam's sleeping arrangements; however, it was some fun time in the sun with our littles and best friend.

{Just the boys} I absolutely adore how much our Fants love our littlest, especially our favorite bigger boy, Bryson.
Boy's Fishing Trip
While Michael's best catch may have been the tiniest but best catch of the day, these guys had a blast on the boat. What beautiful pictures, gorgeous water, amazing dolphin footage, but also some great guy time together.... the next few days were a bit of a blur filled with beach adventures, relaxation, and fun with friends.
Day 2&3ish
The kids had so much fun in the sun. Aubrey seemed to enjoy the beach sand and building castles more than running too deep into the surf but after a few days seemed to really enjoy it. I loved watching all of our littles explore our new "home" away from home.

Happy 4 months to this handsome little hunk!
Day 4ish
Day 4 or maybe 5 (I'm so unsure of the day) we had a fun filled day of beach exploration and fun, matching swim suits with our ladies, delicious eats, tasty drinks, and even enjoyed a foam party!
{These girls LOVE our little man!}

This four month cutie did so well on the beach. I have to say these cuddles will never get old. I am so thankful for this little boy and his great sleep this trip. Is there anything cuter than these adorable matching ladies? Thanks Kristin for finding these special gems for us.

For lunch we made our way to the Hang Out. By far this was one of my absolute favorite places. The food was delicious, the drinks were tasty, and the activity for the kids were so fun.

Day 5 maybe...
I don't know if it was me putting on a brave face or if that my favorite adventurous 6 year old was on board, I somehow was talked into parasailing. It was an amazing and scary adventure but one for the books. Once I was in the moment, there was no where else I would have rather been. I loved this amazing little adventure with the husband. Enjoy a video of our trip.

One of our final nights together, we made our way out on the town. We enjoyed a stop for fun souvenirs, met a pretty ferocious shark, fed the fishies,
and enjoyed delicious dinner and some homemade ice cream.
